Title II-D Technology Collaborative Grant Program

PURPOSE: The purpose of the grant program is to build district and school capacity to use student achievement and other relevant data for strategic decision-making about school and district performance and program improvement. This program will support one full-time equivalent Data Specialist in each of the Department's six District and School Assistance Centers (DSAC).

RESULT OF FUNDING: Funding from this two year program will result in the creation of local partnerships that include a Massachusetts Educational Collaborative with at least one high need district to hire a Data Specialist in each of the Department's six District and School Assistance Centers (DSAC). The Data Specialists will serve all Level Three districts in a region. Funding from this program will also support the DSAC to procure appropriate technology for high quality professional development. Grant awards range from $249,857 to $250,000.
