Technology Enhancement Competitive Grants

PURPOSE: The purpose of the federal grant program is to support school districts in providing online professional development or combined face-to-face and online professional development that is aligned with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's (Department) Curriculum Frameworks and Technology Literacy Standards. The professional development should help educators learn and use successful instructional strategies to integrate technology effectively into instruction.

RESULT OF FUNDING: Funding from this program will support teachers in 40 districts to learn how to integrate the Massachusetts Technology Literacy Standards into the curriculum. The implementation of this program will provide at least 30 promising practices to the Department to be shared via MassONE, the Department's learning portal. This program will serve approximately 350 educators and 30,000 students. Grant awards range from $52,028 to $137,890.
