| Purpose: |
The purpose of this state-funded grant program is to provide supplementary support to the Holyoke Public Schools, as a current district in underperforming status, for the specific purpose of implementation of district turnaround initiatives. |
| Priorities: |
These funds are intended to support the transitional student program, professional development for principals, and resource development capacity. |
| Eligibility: | Only Holyoke Public Schools is eligible to apply. |
| Funding: | Funding is available for up to $400,000. |
| Fund Use: | Fund use must be consistent with the priority described above and may only include costs attributable directly to activities and initiatives that are designed to address ongoing academic deficiencies. |
