Supplementary Support to Specific Underperforming School Districts: Southbridge Galileo Formative Assessment Project
Fund Code: 220

Purpose: The purpose of this state-funded grant program is to provide supplementary support to the Southbridge Public Schools for the specific purpose of supporting the implementation of the Galileo Formative Assessment Project.
Priorities: The School District of Southbridge, designated as an underperforming school district, will be provided the opportunity to apply for funds to support the implementation of the Galileo Formative Assessment Project.
Eligibility: Southbridge Public Schools is eligible to apply.
Funding: Funding is available for up to $29,000.
Fund Use: Funds can be used to support the district's participation in the development and administration of a formative assessment program designed to provide timely interim student performance information to support instructional improvement.
Project Duration: Upon Approval - 6/30/2009
