Gifted and Talented: Planning (Summer Program, 2008)

TD COLSPAN="2">PURPOSE: The purpose of this grant program is to provide funding for districts committed to building basic knowledge and understanding of how to identify and serve a broad range of advanced/gifted students throughout the district. TD COLSPAN="2">RESULT OF FUNDING: Teams of educators from 14 districts will gain basic knowledge and understanding of how to identify and serve gifted/advanced students in their schools. In addition, funding will provide an opportunity for teams to plan programs to be implemented in the 2008-2009 school year. Grant awards range from $1,020 to $6,000.
