PURPOSE: The purpose of this grant program is to identify K-8 advanced, gifted and talented students and to raise their achievement.

RESULT OF FUNDING: This grant will assist 66 schools in 10 districts to identify and raise the achievement of advanced/gifted students. Activities will include professional development for staff and implementation of advanced curriculum for students during the summer of 2008. Grant awards range from $1,820 to $23,600.
