Workplace Education Phase 2 Grant - Increases

TOTAL INCREASE AMOUNT: $415,830 (State)
PURPOSE: The purpose of this grant program is to transition eight (8) prior planning grants, the outcomes of which demonstrated the need and capacity for classroom-based instructional services, to the implementation of instructional services for incumbent workers through business and education partnerships.
RESULT OF FUNDING: This grant will provide funding to eight (8) workplace education partnerships to deliver classroom-based instruction to under-educated and limited English proficient incumbent workers at the worksite. Individual grant increases range from $41,979 to $75,000.
