Enclosed is the FY2007 Grant Assurances Document that covers the requirements for the following programs:

NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT OF 2001 (NCLB): Reauthorized Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 as amended by P. L. 107-110

Title I, Part A Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
Title II, Part A Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting Fund (Educator Quality)
Title II, Part D Enhancing Education Through Technology
Title III English Language Acquisition and Academic Achievement Program
Title IV Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities
Title V Innovative Programs

INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES EDUCATION ACT (IDEA): 20 U.S.C. 1400 et seq.

  • Part B: Entitlement and Discretionary Preschool and School-Age Programs

PERKINS VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION ACT P.L. 105-332

In order to receive funds from NCLB, IDEA, and Perkins, applicants must sign the document where indicated and submit it to the Massachusetts Department of Education by Friday, June 30, 2006.
