FY06 Charter School Tuition Rates

• Formula Summary . A detailed explanation of how the Foundation Rate formula works.

• Charter Rate Summary . A summary of the rates for each charter school, by school campus and sending district.

• Foundation Budget . A matrix for a specific charter school location and sending district containing the foundation enrollment, rates by functional category, and foundation base rate.

• Above Foundation Spending . A district listing of the calculations used to determine the percentage of net school spending above the foundation budget. Deductions for retired teacher's health insurance and out-of-district special education costs are shown in detail.

• Facilities Tuition. In accordance with Chapter 6 of the Acts of 2006, Section 13, the FY06 facilities tuition rate is set at the statewide average of $776. No calculation worksheet is employed.
