Notice of ARRA Primary Award Numbers

A directive within the ARRA compliance supplement requires ESE to notify all recipients of any ARRA grant funds, of the federal program award number that corresponds to those funds.

Currently, included on the standard grant payment notification form, ESE notifies all federal grant recipients, of the CFDA number (Code of Federal Domestic Assistance) which is the fund source identifier linked to each federal program. The federal program award number is a higher level fund source identifier which is usually required for state level purposes only, and is not normally included in the recipient payment notice.

At this time it is unclear whether or not recipients will be required to include this additional information in any required reporting or monitoring documents. However, if your agency has received funding from any of the programs listed below, please make note, and keep this information available with any corresponding ARRA grant records.
