Grants and Other Financial Assistance Programs: FY2010

Supplementary State Support to Commissioner's Districts
Fund Code: 220-F

Purpose: The purpose of this state-funded grant program is to provide supplementary state support to Commissioner's Districts for initiatives related to district-wide improvement efforts.
Priorities: These funds are intended to support specific priority initiatives described in the District Improvement Plan and/or FY2010 Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and each school district.
Eligibility: Commissioner's Districts only. (Please see the attached allocation list in Additional Information.)
Funding: Up to $1,000,000 is available currently. Allocations are based on enrollment.
Fund Use: Fund use must be consistent with the priorities described above and may only include costs directly attributable to agreed upon activities and initiatives.
