| Purpose: |
The purpose of this state-funded grant program is to provide supplementary state support to Commissioner's Districts for initiatives related to district-wide improvement efforts. |
| Priorities: |
These funds are intended to support specific priority initiatives described in the District Improvement Plan and/or FY2010 Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and each school district. |
| Eligibility: | Commissioner's Districts only. (Please see the attached allocation list in Additional Information.) |
| Funding: | Up to $1,000,000 is available currently. Allocations are based on enrollment. |
| Fund Use: |
Fund use must be consistent with the priorities described above and may only include costs directly attributable to agreed upon activities and initiatives. |
