Teen Pregnancy/STD/HIV-AIDS Prevention Planning

PURPOSE: The purpose of this grant program is to enable districts to work with The Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy to plan and implement science-based approaches to teen pregnancy/STI/HIV-AIDS prevention.

RESULT OF FUNDING: Funding will support professional development opportunities for designated district personnel who will facilitate the selection and implementation of science-based approaches to teen pregnancy/ STD/HIV-AIDS prevention. Funding will provide support for six (6) districts, serving over 45,000 students. Grant awards range from $9,000 to $9,150.
