| PURPOSE: The purpose of this federal grant program is to develop a Vocational Technical Education Framework and a Program of Study Grid in Construction Technology. The Framework will be used for Chapter 74-approved vocational technical education programs in Construction Technology that prepare students for registered apprenticeships in the occupation of Skilled Construction Laborer. |

Approximately 100 students will be served by the grant in school year 2008-2009. Additional students will be served in subsequent years. The grant award is $10,000. |
