PURPOSE: The purpose of this federal grant program is to support quality professional development for data-driven decision-making, using the Data Warehouse Tool provided by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

RESULT OF FUNDING: This grant program will support educators in 24 districts, with a total student population of 46,082, to use the state's Data Warehouse System to produce timely and accurate longitudinal reports for data analyses for student improvement. The school districts will learn to upload additional local data, including formative assessment, professional development, and educator data into the system. Grant awards range from $50,000 to $109,514.
